Effect:
A spectator signs a coin and a playing card, then the coin vanishes and is revealed to be inside the signed card! The fact that it is the spectator's own coin and their selected card which are used make this an ASTONISHING trick to experience, right before their very eyes.
The magician places a borrowed coin, a pen, and a deck of cards on the table. He asks a spectator to choose a card, sign across the card's face, then replace the card into the deck where it is shuffled in to ensure its lost. The magician explains that the spectator's coin will help him find their card, and asks them to sign the coin. Then, he taps the coin on the deck and the coin vanishes!
Speading through the playing cards, the magician finds the spectator's previously chosen card - but where is the coin? Nowhere to be seen, until the magician uses the knife to slice across the face of the card. The spectator's signed coin is revealed to be sealed between the layers which make up the signed playing card!!

Does this trick use duplicate cards and coins?
NO. The only card used is the one the spectator selects and signs. The coin used is borrowed from the spectator for added impact!
Are the coin and card examinable?
YES! The spectator should even be encouraged to keep both the card and the coin after the trick! That way, they can tell all their friends how amazing the trick was, and soon everybody will want to see your magic!
Does the trick used gimmicked coins or cards as props?
